Welcome to the Lake,

All of us in the Muskellunge Lake Association hope you find your new home/cottage a wonderful place to be where you can enjoy all of the wildlife and water sports that the lake can offer.  We also hope that you find that your purchase on the lake was a good investment in your time and money.  We are doing our best to maintain the lake in as natural a condition as possible.  We are currently involved in a $200,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources which involves the study of twenty one lakes in our township.  The final report which is due in 2011 should provide guidance for managing the lake in the future.

As you might expect, we can’t make all of our own rules for how certain things are done in our lake neighborhood.  Please see the following attachments regarding waterskiing/boat speeds, town regulations, DNR daily bag limits and rental of lake properties.  Hopefully, these requirements will also help to make your lake experience enjoyable.

Those of us who are members of the lake association have also increased our pleasure from the lake by being involved in the association, when available, and getting to know our neighbors through various volunteer and social functions.  We hope that you will join us after you get acclimated to your new surroundings.
