Our election of officers was held at our annual meeting as usual. Mike Newmeister has been elected as President of MLA succeeding Tom Cerull who remains on the board. Many thanks to Tom for the many years of his leadership in this position. Check out the Organization pages to see the other changes to the board membership.

We had a great presentation again by the Discovery Center. We included some notes from their presentation on Bats in the Commitees/Reports area. It is a good read and who would have known the benefit of these largely unseen critters. The Annual Report is also there.

Look in the Photo Gallery as we have added many old photos from the old Nelson Bros. Resort that was located on Muskellunge Lake. Largely disappeared now, these pictures were from the 20’s and 30’s. Many thanks to Bill Raboin for sharing these old gems. Scott Nelson an MLA Member is the Grandson of this resort owner.
