MLA Boat Parade Results
Well the results are in. We have a winner for the 5th annual boat parade held July 3rd 2016. First a real big thanks to all those who helped organize this fun event. A new format of starting on the south end of the lake, judges and ending in the shallows for the award presentation is a result of their recommendations and planning. Next the Hot Dog feed was a unique idea as well and a big thanks to the Peterson’s, Rydzewski’s and Kurhajec’s for serving up a July 4th treat. Your Social Committee sponsored the chips and dogs. Our winner this year is the Cerull family. The bunch of Parrot Heads with a giant bottle of tequila built a mini Margaritaville and won the hearts of this year’s judges. Congrats to the Cerull’s and I’m sure we’ll see the winners flag flying by their place soon.

A thanks as well to those of you that came down lakeside or out on your boats to cheer everyone. It always makes for a bit of fun on the holiday. We hope to see you all again next year.
